MEET US
Members of the core team meet very informally most Wednesdays from 7-9pm at the Exmouth Arms on the Bath Road. If you have an idea that you would like to discuss or would like to just meet us come do come along!

FUNDING AND SPONSORSHIP
We are completely self-funded, although we have now been the recipient of two Cheltenham Community Pride grants. Up until now we have run two major events a year - our Summer Festival and a Christmas Craft Fair - together with a number of smaller fundraisers. And we have had the help of more than 100 local sponsors. You can see our current list of sponsors here. We are enormously grateful for their support.
As our running costs, such as printing and insurance, have slowly been increasing we have just started a new monthly cash draw (that you can read about above) so that we do not have to worry about covering our basic overheads.

Hi. I was born in Cheltenham and moved to Leckhampton in 2002. I think that South Town (as it used to be called, encompassing Tivoli, The Suffolks, Montpellier, the Bath Road and Leckhampton) is a friendly, vibrant part of Cheltenham, and it's great to see the contribution that Cheltenham Connect has made to the life of the area.
I do a variety of things including publishing, writing and astrology, as well as run courses* and one-to-one tuition in web design.
* with a special discount for Cheltenham Connect members.
I publish Gloucestershire Connections and author ('Astrology, A Beginner's Guide', published by Hodder Headline). I have also run a dance group called Space2dance, which has now been started up again in Christchurch by Laura Cooper. Cheltenham Connect's founder, Wendy Ellyatt and I run an occasional talk evening called In Search of The Sacred. I also designed the Cheltenham Connect logo.
