Members of the core team meet very informally most Wednesdays from 7-9pm at the Exmouth Arms on the Bath Road. If you have an idea that you would like to discuss or would like to just meet us come do come along!

FUNDING AND SPONSORSHIP
We are completely self-funded, although we have now been the recipient of two Cheltenham Community Pride grants. Up until now we have run two major events a year - our Summer Festival and a Christmas Craft Fair - together with a number of smaller fundraisers. And we have had the help of more than 100 local sponsors. You can see our current list of sponsors here. We are enormously grateful for their support.
As our running costs, such as printing and insurance, have slowly been increasing we have just started a new monthly cash draw (that you can read about above) so that we do not have to worry about covering our basic overheads.

Event Description
Transition University of Gloucester and Transition Town Cheltenham's Heart and Soul group invite you to an exploration of how images and language can change our view of the world and help us prepare for the future.
This coming Saturday from 2pm to 5pm at the University's Hardwick Campus (not Francis Close) we are running an afternoon of talks and workshops.
The event is FREE and refreshments are provided. To book a place email tug@ecoling.net or call Beth on 01242 700925.
The afternoon includes a visual presentation Re-framing the World by Arran Stibbe, Reader in Ecological Linguistics at the University of Gloucestershire, a workshop The Artists Way by local artist and coach Lesley O'Niell on personal transformation, a workshop The Art of Communication by consultant Pat Dannahy on Nonviolent Communication, and a practical art workshop on the theme To Be More Not Have More by local graphic designer Jacqui Brown.
